July-August 2007
Dear Faithful Pastors and Brethren In Christ,
As the summer comes to a close, we look back on the past couple of months that were spent in our home church in Macedonia, OH and are grateful for being able to sit in our local church and hear the teaching and preaching of God’s Word. We also had a good amount of meetings scattered in between at supporting churches in the OH area. We spent time with family and friends and had opportunities to give the gospel along the way and try to be an encouragement to our various loved ones. We ask prayer for Janet’s mom whom we gave as much as our time as possible. As far as we know she is not saved and has recently been diagnosed with dementia, most likely Alzheimers in it’s beginning stages and is on several medications for it.
Our meetings in OH went well. A young girl was saved after the preaching at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Talmadge, OH. By mid August we left OH and travelled to NY where we met with several new churches as well as our supporting churches. Once you get into NY you find lots of Italians. Being born in Sicily, it is and always will be a blessing to see Italian people who are saved and in the ministry such as Pastor Vince Giardino, Pastor Lou Guadagno with his sons Lou and Pete, Pastor David Constantino, Pastor Joe Camilleri, Pastor Joe Perticone, Pastor Paul Ianello, Pastor Joe Costa, Pastor Joe Silvestri, Pastor Bob Militello, Pastor Vince Massa. God bless you brethren and those that gave you the gospel.
As we’ve spent time with different churches, we’ve had opportunities to get involved with street work, visitation, nursing homes, hospital calls and tract distribution. It’s been a blessing to labor with those who have labored with us so faithfully for the Sicilians.
September will be spent in Pennsylvania. We will then head to NYC and continue on up the eastern seaboard, all the way to Maine. The Lord willing we will travel back to OH the last of November and be with our home church for it’s 25th anniversary. We are planning to return to Sicily the first week of December with great anticipation. The Jordans continue to hold the fort in Sicily and reports continue to be very good with a steady amount of visitors as well as those that are faithful. Pray for Nino Pipitone who will be leaving for England for work. We have a 34 foot travel trailer, 2007 Cougar (Keystone) for sale. If you are interested or know of any one interested I can be contacted at 805-746-7528 or salgalioto@tiscali.it . It will be available at the end of November. We would appreciate your prayers regarding our traveling, our personal health, and that we would we be a blessing as we report to all of our faithful supporting churches as well some new ones.
We thank you brethren for your faithfulness:
