NOVEMBER-DECEMBER 2007

Mazara Jan 2, 2008

Dear Brethren in Christ Jesus our Lord, a Blessed New Year and multiplied Mercy to you all from God our Father,
our Lord Jesus Christ and the communion of the Holy Ghost!

We greet you from Sicily! After 11 months of traveling the U.S. (a total of 34,000 miles), it is great to be back “home”. We
arrived safe and sound, by God’s grace, on December 7. Our return flight went very well and we thank our Heavenly Father for his
hand upon us as we traveled. Things went smoothly through the airports and all 28 pieces of luggage, including the harp, arrived
safely. We thank you brethren for those who prayed for our return trip. We very much felt held up by the prayers of the saints.
We spent the last stretch of our furlough on the eastern seaboard, finishing up in Maine where we spent the Thanksgiving
week with Pastor Art Dean of Bible Baptist Church, and family. In a day where the real meaning of Thanksgiving is forgotten, it was
a joy to be with good friends and brethren and have a real Thanksgiving. It is not my normal practice in prayer letters to mention
prayer requests that do not pertain to the ministry in Sicily, but there is a very pressing need that we are asking for the fervent prayer
of the saints. Shortly after our visit with the Dean family, we received news that Mrs. Art Dean (Lily) was diagnosed with cancer.
She has just undergone surgery and they wait to receive reports from the doctor for further treatment. They have nine children all still
at home. They are being sustained very powerfully by the grace of God in this fiery trial. This faithful family would appreciate any
prayers that can be prayed on their behalf. Thank you brethren. They are requesting no phone calls at this time.
From Maine we traveled back to Ohio for our church’s 25th anniversary. It was a great blessing to us to be able to be with
our home church for this special weekend of preaching, testimonies, singing and rejoicing in the faithfulness of God. We are thankful
for our faithful pastor Richard Kipp and his wife Jan who have been a continual blessing and encouragement to us. Our home church
is especially rejoicing over the fact that the Lord has called another member, Bro. John Weldon and his family, to the field of
Moldova to work with Paul Hamilton. He is just beginning his deputation.

It has taken us a full month to do the basics of settling in. There was a lot of red tape to deal with, the home to put in order,
household needs, etc. that needed immediate attention. Also in there we had an “eaten” bank card, an abscessed tooth that had to be
pulled and a trip to the emergency room (Eunice flew head first into the table while playing and had 9 stitches in her forehead – no
anesthesia! That’s just how they do it here).

Besides settling in, with the Christmas season being upon us, we caroled at the Stassatti shopping center (5 minutes North of
Mazara) where we have gone for the past 4 years. We caroled 3 nights there and passed out tracts. A brand new mall has opened up
in the town of Castelvetrano about 20 minutes east from Mazara. This is an actual mall and is quite a big deal for this side of the
island. Sicilians who generally never leave their hometown are now congregating there. We were offered the opportunity to carol in
this mall and did so for 2 nights. We did not have the liberty to pass out tracts there, but we were able to set up a table with tracts on
it and quite a few people did take them.

Please be in prayer about our evangelistic efforts, starting works in other towns, and the printing of Bibles. The church in
Mazara is now under the care of Bro. Jordan who is filling in until Bro. Sudore returns from furlough.

It was a great blessing to see many of you face to face this past year. We thank you all once again for right hand of
fellowship and generosity that was shown to us. Although we are miles apart, we are thankful for the like-mindedness and unity of
the Spirit that we have with all true Bible Believers and we look forward to the blessed hope of our Lord Jesus Christ’s soon return.
Our travel trailer is still for sale. If you know of anyone who is interested, email me and I will send the PDF attachment of
the description and photos of the trailer. Thank you.

We thank our Heavenly Father for all of you and pray that 2008 will be a profitable year in the Lord as you continue to serve
him.

In Christ,
Bro. Sal Galioto and Family
